Where in the Bible was Easter celebrated?
Response:
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your excellent question.
The only reference to the word Easter in the Bible I know of is in the King James Version.
King James Version
Acts 12:4: And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
(For Comparision)
New American Standard Bible 1995
Acts 12:4: When he had seized him, he put him in prison, delivering him to four squads of soldiers to guard him, intending after the Passover to bring him out before the people.
The early Christians began to celebrate Easter, more accurately referred to as the Resurrection of Jesus, during the time of year previously observed as the Passover in the Old Testament.
Unfortunately, satanic powers introduced and began celebrating objects like bunny rabbits and colored eggs.
They call it Easter but say nothing about the real purpose, which was the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus, the beginning of the New Covenant.
Thank you for your question. I pray the Lord will bless all of your efforts.

“Are My Gifts From God or Satan?”
Question:
I can sense things and feel people’s emotions. Many say this is a gift of empathy and mercy and that I’m close to Jesus. I also have good eyes. I seem to notice details that others don’t. I just want to be sure this a gift and not any form of witchcraft. It seems to attract bad spirits too.
Response:
I believe our greater gifts, including those you mentioned, are from God and that we are expected to use them for His glory and the benefit of all others (including yourself).
Being able to detect satanic presence, actions, and witchcraft is also a gift from God. God provides it for your benefit to know what is happening around you in the spiritual world.
For instance, if you know Satan or witches are tempting you or those close to you, or even people in government, you can then pray for the power of God to come to your assistance and to be on guard against the evil powers.
The Holy Spirit is Your Friend; learn to listen for His guidance.
I hope this helps. Always remember that Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4), meaning Satan and all of his powers.
I will be happy to answer any questions,
Samuel

Did Moses truly die?
Yes, according to Scripture, Moses died, and though we aren’t given the details, it appears that God buried him.
Here is the Scripture:
34 Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is across from Jericho. And the Lord showed him all the land of Gilead as far as Dan, 2 all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Western Sea, 3 the South, and the plain of the Valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar. 4 Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land of which I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there.”
5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. 6 And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day. 7 Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished. 8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days. So the days of weeping and mourning for Moses ended.
9 Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
10 But since then there has not arisen in Israel a prophet like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, 11 in all the signs and wonders which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt, before Pharaoh, before all his servants, and in all his land, 12 and by all that mighty power and all the great terror which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel (Deut 34:1-12)
I hope this answered your question.

I’m wondering how to reconcile:
- You cannot serve both God and money
- If you don’t work, you don’t eat.
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding and He will direct your paths
- Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
About Serving God and Money
God wants to be number one in our lives. He loves us and dotes upon us and wants to guide us into the city, job, house, etc. of His choosing. In fact, He wants to be everything to us; He wants to be our God.
“So, therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple,” (Luke 14:33).
In our world money is such an important necessity that people will do anything to get it. Some will work too much, rob, steal, swindle, (you name it) to get money and the things it will buy. In that way, it becomes more important to that person than God.
We all need money, but we can not allow it to have dominion over the things of God and take such prominence in our lives that it has precedence over what God wants us to have, and how He wants us to get it.
Sometimes God may have plans for us that do not include riches. This makes it impossible to serve God to our full potential and yet allow our desire for lots of money to control our lives and to keep us from the things of God. It just won’t work.
We are to pray read the Bible and listen for the guidance of the Holy Spirit with an intent of making Jesus the priority over everything else, including money, in our lives.
No Work No Eat
“For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. 11 For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies,” (Thess 3:10-11).
This is God’s way of telling us that we need to be responsible in making provision for ourselves, and others who may be dependent on us. And, at the end of the verse, to not be busybodies, (out stirring up trouble and carrying tales, etc).
There is an old saying that, although not scriptural, goes right along with the above quote, “A busy man is a happy man.”
God knows this and wants us to be happy and following this advice will keep us ours in a lot of trouble.
Another thing regarding working is that if you can always manage to have a job or perhaps your own business, even if it’s not the best job in the world, you will always be able to provide for yourself and perhaps others.
Trust in the Lord
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths, (Prov 3:5-6).
Here again, Kay, God wants to be a priority in your life. He wants you to pray and to learn to listen for His prompting and guidance and to trust Hime for everything. His plans are always best and will bring you the most happiness. It will also accomplish the things He would like to do through you.
Practice listening for the Voice of God that is deep inside you, not through your ears, except He may occasionally send someone to give you a message which is usually a confirmation of the things you have already heard in your spiritual heart.
Seek First the Kingdom of God
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you,” (Matt 6:33).
Yet, another time God is asking you to make your priority His Kingdom and to make sure you are there. And then including all these things (the rest of your life, material, financial) including the things we have mentioned above, will be added to you.
And most importantly they will be His choices for you. One day you will look back and realize that His paths are always the best.
If you will always be determined to find His will and to follow (which you seem to be doing) your life will be a success.
Jesus loves you very much Kay, and I pray He will bless all your efforts in every area of your life,

“Lets Teach Our Children to Love”
Why is it so difficult for our educators and society, in general, to understand that love and respect for one another taught from a young age can solve much of the world’s hostility and social problems!
“Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it” (Prov 22:6).
Love is the answer!
True loyalty springs from the heart and is wrapped in love. It is often in our most private moments that true loyalty, or the lack of it, is made known.
